Poster designs for Ballet Chicago. Using various quotes they had around the studios from famous directors and dancers involved in ballet. This shoot was such a pleasure to be on. Long exposures of dancers going through their routines. We had made a snoot out of the seamless backdrop we had brought, that really focused the light. Like a spotlight on stage. Watching the dancers exhibit such grace was so beautiful.
Fonts used: Lubalin Graph and Avante Garde Gothic. With some Optima thrown in – referencing their logotype. These images and typography were also used in a 20 minute promotional video we created for them.
